There are many ways to achieve high website ranking, but most importantly you need to follow all the rules of search engine optimisation as determined by Google. Although it is not the only search engine available, it is the biggest and most comprehensive. If you achieve a good ranking on Google, you are pretty much set with regards to the other search engines.
Optimising your site involves many things, the most important of which are links, keywords and original content. Believe it or not, with all the fancy graphics, applications and plugins that are available for websites today, the thing that does the most to tell the search engines how to rank you is the text that explains the purpose of your site. All websites should have multiple pages of unique content in order to be noticed by the search engine bots. You need to include keywords relevant to your site’s purpose so that the bots will know how to index your site.
