Improving Web Traffic Sales by Using Affordable Optimisation Methods

Posted on 23. Oct, 2009 by Lyz in blog, web site conversion

If you are used to hard copy advertising (leaflets, phone directories and such) you may feel that putting your website address at the bottom is all you need, but it isn’t. Improving web traffic sales is all about finding those customers who have never seen you in print. The others already know everything they need to know about your business.

You probably decided on a web site as a way of maximising your profits – an obvious thing to do, with so many small companies going bust on the high street. But improving web traffic sales is all about using the internet effectively – not just plonking your site there and expecting it to sell itself!

When I prepare affordable optimisation reports, I see the same glaring mistakes again and again, especially from those more used to traditional media applications.

So if you’re hoping on improving web traffic sales via conventional media advertising, consider these points: how many successful pamphlet sales do you get? Chances are most of your leaflets end up in the bin. If you advertise in trade magazines – how many customers read your adverts? And on the radio – how many people have time to scribble down your website address before it vanishes?

Improving web traffic sales starts with the internet – and nowhere else. That’s where Click2Customer comes in. I realise that, for many, the internet is a whole new ball game. This is why I make my affordable optimisation reports so straight forward and readable – just like your web page should be.

Properly optimizing your pages to make them “search engine friendly” can greatly increase your search engine rankings, traffic levels, and potential earnings from your website.
