How a website optimisation report benefits you:

  • You make more money by increasing your website’s conversion rate
  • You get more traffic by improving your search engine rankings
  • You save time and money by improving your website rather than building a new one
  • You take back control of your website with independent advice and support

website optimisation report checklist

You need a website optimisation report if:

  • You’re in charge of, or own, a website that’s failing to generate enough business leads or sales
  • You’re struggling to get a high website ranking on Google
  • Your web team have run out of ideas on how to improve your website
  • You want some expert, independent advice

You can start to improve your website straight away!

The first thing I need to tell you is that this is a 20-30 page information packed report that has been specifically designed with a non-technical user in mind – that’s not to say that the information contained in it isn’t useful to a more experienced website owner, just that it’s usable by everyone. And secondly that it’s personalised and specific to your website.

I know that other companies offer website optimisation reports that run to 75 pages but seriously, when are you going to have time to sit down and wade through it – never mind implement it all?

This report has all the information you need to optimise your website to improve search engine rankings and increase your web site’s conversion rate in an easy to use format.

You could be acting on this report within ten minutes of receiving it. Just imagine, you can start improving your website the very same day you receive your report!

Your report carried out by a person not a computer

I should also point out that this website optimisation report is performed by a person (me) so each one is different and contains only information relevant to your website.

I use a 50 point checklist to go through your website and categorise each point as Good, Bad or Indifferent. To make it super-easy for you each is colour coded so you can see at a glance, without even reading the report, the areas you need to prioritise for action:

  • Green with a smiley face means good – leave it alone
  • Yellow with an indifferent face means satisfactory – could do better
  • Red with an angry face means bad – change it quickly

Using your website optimisation report

I’ve designed the report so that each page uses the same colour coding and annotation style to get information across quickly and easily – no translating required. The checklist is divided into three sections:

  • Conversion rate optimisation – how easy is it for your site visitors to perform tasks and where are the roadblocks that are preventing  them from doing so
  • Natural search engine optimisation – how well does your site rank in search engines and how can you improve it
  • Performance optimisation – how well is your website actually built – a look at the code behind the pages

Following this are screenshots from your current website annotated with colour coded points from the checklist (see example below) so you can see specifically where your problem points are. Next are screenshots showing you actual graphics of how I recommend you update your site to maximise opportunities. These are not complete re-designs of your website but visuals to show how I recommend you tweak your site to improve usability and so conversions.

Top secret

This report contains the kind of information that search engine optimisation and web page optimisation professionals will never tell you – they’ll let you pay them month on month to work on your site but have you noticed that they never actually tell you what they’re doing?

This is frustrating on two levels; you never learn how to improve your website to make it perform better and you have to keep paying someone month on month which is a drain on the financial resources.

You get my website optimisation report for a one-off fee and it tells you:

  • Where and how to make changes to improve your conversion rate: this includes visuals to show you exactly what I think you should change and how it should look
  • How to change information on your website to help it rank better in the search engines: with specific examples of what to put where
  • What to do to improve the overall performance of your website: the specifics of what to tell your web developer
